Understanding matters. Feeling is what transforms!

Putting words to what keeps us stuck can bring clarity and relief. Deeper change happens when the pain behind those patterns is felt, expressed, and met with care.

My approach to therapy

A woman with black hair, wearing a red jacket, smiling, holding yellow and white notebooks, sitting outside near a wooden bench, with an outdoor scene reflected in the nearby window. There is a blue plastic chair or container nearby, and a fallen tree branch on the ground.

Therapy is where you can meet yourself, including the parts you learned to shrink to keep others close.

We move at your pace, without force or an agenda. I draw from Emotion-Focused, Psychodynamic, and Attachment-Based therapy to listen for the wisdom your emotions carry, understand how the past lives in the present, and explore how early relationships shaped how you see yourself and others, so you can reclaim your inner fire and live with fierce authenticity.

A colorful, abstract collage with various textured elements, including a piece resembling wood, fabric, water, a red shape, a yellow shape, and a brick pattern, arranged in a layered composition.

What once protected you may now be asking to be transformed.

Patterns form to help us hold onto love, keep the peace, or feel safe. Even after those experiences have passed, they may still show up automatically.

Therapy helps us honour how they once protected you, understand what they are still trying to protect, and live with greater freedom, agency, and choice.

A bit about me.

Outside of counselling, I have a series of interests, passions, and hobbies that I deeply care about. Here are some of them.

Person walking on a log bridge in a green forest, wearing athletic clothing and running shoes. Overlayed with a quote about visiting the forest.
Black and white illustration of a chicken and a rooster, with the words 'Cluck and Cock' written above.

I complete my Master of Counselling Psychology at Adler University in January 2027.

Line art of a person running, depicted as a simple stick figure, with motion lines around the legs.

I share my life with Luna, a Cavapoo who looks like the sweetest stuffed animal in the world.

Silhouette of a wolf howling on a hill against a large moon with a star-filled night sky.

I try to meditate daily. It helps me notice my monkey mind and take my thoughts less seriously.

I love reading about how the brain is capable of change. Ask me for a book recommendation!
